Model COP game
Purpose: The game is designed for use by teachers, youth workers or community organisations to model the COP climate negotiations process along with the challenges and trade-offs involved.
How many people? It requires 5-6 groups which are each allocated a country and a budget. There should be between 3 and 6 people in each group (minimum 15 people)
Age: 14+
Resources required: You will need a projector for the slides, the country profiles, teacher and student sheets and pompoms or counters to act as currency.
Time: We recommend a minimum of 1.5 hours for this activity, but it could easily be stretched out with more discussion points and chances to feed back.
